Access is denied errors

    Access is denied errors

    I had to reinstall XP, then NT7. I backed up and restored customer indicators and strategies that I created. Now, the *.cs files are giving me "access is denied" errors.

    Appreciate any help.

    Hello,

    Are you getting the access is denied errors in windows explorer or in NinjaTrader?

    What steps are you doing that cuase the access is denied error.

      1. Both
      2. Editing an indicator or strategy
      I called the backup/restore software company and they helped with it. Was Windows permissions. Quite involved to fix. Had to boot into Safe mode, etc, etc
      All set now, thx.

        Cool, Sounds Good. Yea it seemed like you had a more involved Windows Issue here. Glad you got it resolved.
