Time to Flatten - Server or Client?

Is Time to Flatten server-side or client-side?

Timeline:

1) place buy orders on computer A

2) computer A has 'time to flatten' listed as 3:59pm

3) immediately disconnect from computer A for rest of day

Q - At 3:59pm, are my long positions closed?


What happens if I add step:
4) Connect o computer B, close the position, place some sell orders, and this computer does *not* have time to flatten checked, I am net shrt at 3:59pm

Q - At 3:59pm, is are my shot positions closed

Thank you for your forum post.

Flatten all is client side. You need to be connected with NinjaTrader and the computer that you are using the flatten all command to the flatten all open positions.
