Hi

Is there a way to have the optimization tool return results for a group of symbols? Using the already available simple moving average crossover strategy, can the tool return the one symbol out of a group of symbols with the highest profit factor, or maybe list the symbols in order of profit factor?

Also, is there an easy way to use the tool to optimize an exponential moving average?

Hi MLurski,

Yes, you can create an instrument list of symbols in the Instrument Manager, then run the optimizer on the list, then sort by Profit Factor.

First, create new list by selecting the "New" button in the instrument manager, then add your symbols.
