synchronizing IB and Ninja

Hi,

I have a question. I am paper trading now with IB through Ninja. When I placed a trade in IB, I can see it in Ninja, but when I place a trade through Ninja I don't see it in IB. Does somebody know if there is a way to "synchronize" both platforms?

Anita, welcome to our forums - on which account are you placing the trade in NinjaTrader? If you place it on the Sim101 account it would not show up in IB's TWS as this is just an internal simulation account in NinjaTrader.

Hi anituchka,

Please double check which account you have selected. From the sounds of it, you're placing trades in to the Sim101 account.

Since the Sim101 account is internal to NinjaTrader, any orders placed in to this account would not be reflected in TWS.

This is not quite what I was asking.

Please open the Executions tab of the control center and locate the trade(s) in question.
Under the Account column, what is listed for this order?
