Time and Sales question

I have setup the Time and Sales window exactly the same. So far I have not seen lines that use a black fore color.

Can you please let us know the outcome once you installed the latest version.

Yes I will tell you and also since before I haven't got anymore either since changing the color of 'Between' from Gray to Pink.
But it seems to happen in that London session some kind of orders cant be identified.

Can you please clarify what you mean by 'London session'. Are you saying the issue only occurs at certain times?

Ok, so the issue only occurred when the between fore color is set to Gray. Please let me know if you can reproduce the issue in our latest version.

Still persisting

I am back, I have installed the newest version of NinjaTrader.
This problem persists.
I will post 3 screenshots of 6A Australian Dollar Currency future.
One is of the problem itself, the other 2 of my settings.
This is a random anomaly that shows volume as black and unidentified not being above or below or at or in between the bid/ask.
This is an important problem as this volume is totally unidentified.
How can it be completely unidentified?
I do not want to change the colors, these are the colors I want, and as you can see that wouldn't be entirely unreasonable thing to ask for.
Who is able to hide their trade type from other traders?And why would they be allowed to do such a thing?

Unfortunately I am not sure why you display this trade. I have setup the T&S window using the exact same properties. I have not seen a black line yet, but I will keep an eye out.

Can you please tell me what time zone is used on your PC. Do you see this trade if you create a chart for the 6A?

Hi, its not a line, its text showing up black, but nothing as you can see is set to black.
Its all other colors, and transparent, and white, there is no black.
The time Zone is NY time.
And you cant see it on a chart as there is no time and sales data on a chart, if you mean the cumulative bid ask then you cant see individual blocks on that, this is just simple time and sales.
Yet occasionally, on multiple instruments, a trade will show up as black, which has no identification as to whether it was places above or below, at, or in between the bid/ask.
Obviously it has to be one of those, if its not above or below, or at, or in between, where possibly on earth could it be?
This is very troublesome and worrying to be honest as unidentified large volume blocks are a very important thing.

Please note that NinjaTrader acts like a radio reciever and displays the data it receives. I suggest to contact the connectivity provider for clarification regarding this trade.

Yeah ill contact the ZenFire people I haven't tried that yet, not that I expect to get anywhere but ill give it a go.
Yes the colors are saved, its all proper, im sure as you can imagine ive tried it all 100 times to make sure.
Even in market replay data I recorded on Friday it recorded the black.
But I cant read in the file because its just all code like this its not like chart historical data.

Could you please send me the Market Replay data you recorded that contains such black text. Please include at what estimated times the black text occurs if possible.

Market Replay data can be found at (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 6.5-->db-->data.
Please zip and attach the date folder for last Friday. Send it to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com, reference this forum thread and put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header.

Ok I sent some they are a bit big so I just sent a couple from today because today I know it did it on all I was looking at.

Here is what its doing today, instead of replacing my colored text that I have set with black.
Sometimes it just prints it over the top of the correct colored text.
I am going to try disabling historical data in my connection and only allow live incoming data from ZenFire.
I will tell you if it changes it.

Disabling historical data from the NT server in my connection didn't change it the first data that came through printed the text black.

I suspect the black text lines refer to trades that occurred in between the bid and ask. You have it set to transparent, however somehow this converts to the black color on your PC.

I have not seen blank rows in the screenshots you provided so far and I am unable to reproduce the black text lines on my end either.

Hi Jason, No it is not because that is set to transparent. Only in that example it was, if you look back to the other pictures on this thread you will see it doing it without between being set to transparent. And also I have played with all different colors, tried changing everything, and it still does it. The amount of data you have on your screenshot is not enough to verify it as it sometimes takes a long time to happen. It happens randomly, and sometimes happens all the time then not at all. Market replay data will not contain anything to do with individual colors as you know, so its going to be hard to verify it from that. Maybe its packet loss?Malformed packet from ZenFire which Ninja doesn't know what kind of trade it was as some of the info is missing? Is there some way you can analyze the data I sent you?To see if there is some kind in there that is unidentified? Because when I run that file on my market replay, the 6E one, it shows up after 5:15am as some black text. Thanks

Did you ever saw trades that were colored by the color you had selected for trades that occur in between the bid and ask?

I did replay the Market Replay data as per the 6A 09-10 that you sent, however I did not see any black text lines.

I have not been able to reproduce these back text lines on my end yet nor did we receive any similar reports. Do you perhaps have another PC you can install NinjaTrader and test the issue?
