Restore workspace question

I'm trying to restore my workspace layout, after a clean install of the OS yesterday. I tried to restore a workspace from the NinjaTrader 6.5 file I backed up to a flash drive, but the message "NinjaTrader was unable to restore the selected backup archive file: Wrong Local header signature: 0x6E694E3C" comes up. Shouldn't I be able to restore my set-up from a saved workspace? Or is the info in the "NinjaTrader backups" file, which I seem to remember seeing now, but didn't think to back up? Thanks.

Thank you for your post.

Did you create a backup file within NinjaTrader and move this file to a flash drive or did you manually move your Workspace.xml file to your flash drive?

I didn't create a special back up file. I just copied the ninjatrader 6.5 folder(I guess this is what I should have called it) to the flash drive. Within this folder are three saved workspace files. Thanks.

Please use the steps I have provided below to restore the Workspaces:

• Close NinjaTrader
• Documents
• NinjaTrader 6.5
• Open the Workspace folder
• Open the NinjaTrader folder on your flash drive
• Workspaces
• Select all files within this folder on the flash drive and move these to the current Workspace folder on your PC
• Restart NinjaTrader
