Using a simulated stop on low priced stocks

Hi I would like to know if its possible to use a simulated stop on a low priced and most of the time volatile stock including a NASDAQ or OTCBB stock which normally won't allow a stop order. I realize it is stored on your computer and won't be full proof if market moves fast but will it work with Ninjatrader software using a broker like Interactive Brokers?

    Hi dr0832,

    Thank you for your post.

This should work since the orders are simulated on your PC, and because of this they rest on your machine rather than with the broker or exchange. When activated the order will be submitted as a Limit order to your broker since the stop portion has already been achieved.

Please see the following link for more information.
