Login failed: PFGSocket_OnDisconnect

    Login failed: PFGSocket_OnDisconnect

    While attempting to sign into PFGBest account received the following error message in NT7B16.

    Login failed: PFGSocket_OnDisconnect - Connection was terminated. (-7)

    Also tried it with firewall down without success. Running Win7 64 OS.

    Hi whitmark,

    Thank you for your post.

    Can you please remove, repair and recreate your connection to PFG.

    • Please go to the Tools menu--> select Account Connections--> highlight the connection--> click Remove
    • Then go to the Tools menu--> select Options--> select the Misc tab--> click Repair DB
    • Restart NinjaTrader
    • Please go to the Tools menu--> select Account Connections and recreate the account connection.

        I am seeing this same error using 6.5 on XP Pro SP3.

        I have tried the steps below to no avail. I then tried removing the account and uninstalling the PFGsetup program. Then did a reinstall of the program, and re initiated the account connection still to no avail.

        I also tried without the firewall and same result.

          Thank you for your post.

          Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with 'ATTN: Kyle' in the subject line.

          In the message, please include the following:

          1.) A link to this forum thread.

          2.) Your most current trace file.
          You will find the trace file in the My Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5> Trace folder.
          Today's trace file would be named 'trace.20100610.txt'

          3.) The version of the PFG API that you are running.
