Anti Virus & Slower Data Feed

Anyone notice SLOWER data feed after installing Norton Anti virus.
Any solutions?
I use Zenfire and my system has 4 meg RAM & 2.65 GigHz processing speed.

I dont know of any specific reason why this would be except for Norton may be using RAM the NinjaTrader needs to run. You may have better luck contacting Norton on this issue and questioning why your applications are running slower after installing their product. Though some performance hit is to be expected when running AntiVirus since it has to run in the background of the computer using system resorces. Some companies AntiVirus use more ram and have more of a performance hit then others. Unfortunately I do not have any recommendations on Anti Virus.

You may be able to use these performance tips to bring back some speed after installing Norton.

How can I "ping" test the speed of the data packets I receive from Zenfire?

Unfortunately I know of no way to ping test this. What I could offer is to have you contact me through email and I could remote onto your computer and take a look at the speed data is coming in at and compare with what I am getting to see if we are on the same page.
