    Basic esignal connection

    Hi,
    I would like to just trade ES in simulation using my esignal data feed. I have the data feed from them, I enter the information just like it says on the help page, removing the level II data, and double checked my firewall.

    All I continue to get is

    Login failed: Unable to connect to tick server host.

    Any ideas for help?

    Thank you for your post.

    You may need to delete the information input into the “Tick server host” field (in the “Connection Options” dialog).

    Close NinjaTrader & the eSignal Data Manager & then restart/reconnect.

    Please let me know if this does not resolve the connection issue.

      Thank you for your quick response. I tried deleting the tick server and restarting both software. I hoped it might work, but unfortunately, did not.

      I continue to get error connecting to the server.

      Any way to test it?

        Hi Russell,

        Try the following and see if that corrects the issue.

        - Remove your account connection
        - Exit and restart NT
        - Recreate your account connection
        - Connect

        If that doesn't work, send a note to support at ninjatrader dot com. Refer to this post and include your eSignal username and password so we can test on our end.

          Morning NinjaTraders,
          I am picking this up again.
          I uninstalled NT, the reinstalled the software. I did a new license and account connection. I deleted the tick server host and level II host.
          Can you help please?

            I will need to have you send me the eSignal login credentials you are using so that I can create & test the connection on my end.

            Please send the email to support AT ninjatrader DOT com

            Also make sure to include this forum thread title in your email.

            (do not post your login details in the support forum)
