Why can't I get more than 1year' historical data

I am only getting 1 year of historical data, using Gain, as data provider. How do I get more data? When I request a larger number of bars in the chart properties, it only gives 1 year.

Is there a way to get more than 1 year's free data?

Hello accumulator,

More history is not available with the Gain connection. You will have to supplement your data with another provider if you would like to view more. See below for a list of our providers and the level of data supported.

Incidentally, is there a way to plot another security in the same window, to compare their correlations? like for example 2 currency pairs, or even an index and a currency. I can't seem to find how to do that.

I read somewhere that replay data would be available historically in ver 7. However I then saw a question in red asking if it will really be available.

Will we be able to get hold of this historical replay data? Will it be sold by ninja or a 3rd party?

Hello ninjauser,

Yes, this is available now for the more commonly traded instruments. You will need any provider that supplies futures data and then can download though File > Utilities > Download Replay Data.
