Hello,

I need to ask something.
Some some currency pairs is possible to download (historical data) and some other currency pairs is not possible..?

When I open new chart (when I am connected to GAIN) of EURUSD or GBPUSD or AUDJPY or USDCHF it displays me the candle sticks, that is OK.

But I am trying to open NZDJPY or USDHKD its not working, it shows me just empty window...

Am I doing something wrong, or is the GAIN providin just some specific currency pairs data.. ?

Hello Zooinek,

It will depend on whether you are using NinjaTrader for historical data or Gain.

NinjaTrader provides more history but only for the more commonly traded pairs.

Gain will typically offer 24 hours of history for anything that can be traded through their system.

Check your settings by clicking Tools > Account Connections, selecting the Gain connection and clicking Change.

I have Ninja Trader Servers chosen for historical data...

So what should I do if I want to backtest my strategy on more currency pairs..
In this case I need the NZDJPY or USDHKD... where I can get the historical data (at least two years of historical data)..?

You'll have to consider an alternate provider. See below for the list of our providers and the level of data supported.

"Data ony" providers such as DTN/IQ, Barchart, or eSignal may provide the best results if all you're after is the historical data.
