already LONG, want to sell from a strategy

Hello,
Here is a question.
Note that I am already LONG 100 share.
I want to open a strategy and use it to SELL 100 shares when some conditions occurs. Can I do it ??.
Can I set Position.MarketPosition = MarketPosition.Long once at the beginning ??MF

mflorea, welcome to our forums - you could enter the 100 shares via a market order historically (thus Position.MarketPosition would be long as you start the strategy up for trading).

You say that Ninja will conform with my broker that I am already LONG with them and I should not test this condition in the strategy

MF, no NinjaTrader will not check this off with your broker, you would need to ensure proper sync between your strategy vs. account positions -
