How To Display Spread Quotes?

How do I display energy spread quotes, say the CL calendar spread between 1st and 2nd contract? It is very easy with TT and IB.

Also, how can I have a quote sheet? Thx.

Absolutely,

In NinjaTrader goto Control Center->File->New->Market Analyzer.

Then right click on the market analyzer and click add instruments. It is here that you can add multiple instruments each with a different expiry.

I am trying to add the 6E Jun-Sep calendar which trades as a single instrument on the CME ie. so it is a spread but trades as a single instrument. The IQFeed symbol is @EUM12-@EUU12. When I try to create a custom quote i get a dialog complaining about the dash in the symbology. Any workaround?

it isn't a spread between 2 things. it is a single product that happens to be a spread. please don't give me the canned response. how do i deal with an IQFeed symbol that has a "-" in it? Since they are in fact your preferred provider you must support their feed?

Yes I understand its one symbol.

There is no change to my response. Its simply not supported unfortunately the - is what makes that instrument class unsupported unfortunately.

Pretty ridiculous. Seems like a software bug to me. You support charting of single symbols. IQ Feed is a preferred provider. Don't give me the same answer you have given people for the 3 years you have been replying on the forums. How about "Yes that is a software bug we should fix and we will have it fixed by X timeframe"? If you can't make that assertion tell me who at your company I can speak to that can get something done.

Sorry Stuart. Simply not supported and will not be in the short term. It is on developments suggestion list to look into for our next major release to see if we can add this as a supported type, I know that options for example which we also do not support are also on the list to be looked into for this next major release.I do not have a release date at this time or expected release date for next major release.
