Missing overnight historical data

    Missing overnight historical data

    No overnight data is showing up for any instruments I pull up. I am using NT 6.5 and get the following message in my log:

    Unable to connect to Ninja trader data server (64.202.118.132/31654): An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

      I can connect but there is a gap from 11pm central

        My sincere apologies for the inconvenience, but we have just discovered a recent down in our historical data server, we are diligently working to resolve the issue and will alert you once it is back up.

            Tim,

            I shut down NT and restarted my computer, but am still missing the data and still receiving the same log message.

              still seem to have the issue, it also isn't saving any of the data after I relaunch ninja. I created a new chart to see if there was a corruption but it is not the case.

                  Can you please try restarting your machine. If the issue persists, please send a note to:

                              This happens all too frequently lately. Why is there not a backup server? Why do we have to deal with data gaps because of the lack of a backup server? I was trying to open a trading room this morning but had nothing but bad data. I'm not trying to stir up trouble but when this happens quite frequently shouldn't someone be looking for a cure?
