Retrieving data extremely slow

I had to recently restore my laptop(vista) and after doing so, installed new Mcafee firewall/virus protection.
I was and still am running NT 6.5.1000.15. I had to download and reload it. After doing so, now it takes anywhere from 15 to 30 mins. to just download 1 chart data after connecting to gain.

I went to the firewall and made sure that NT has permissions. I don't know why it would take so long for this to load. Any idea's?

This may be due to your database. Please rename your database. With this procedure you will be required to recreate any ATM Strategies you may have saved at this time.

To rename the DB:

• Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
• Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> DB--> NinjaTrader.MDB.
• Right click on NinjaTrader.MDB and select "Rename."
• Name it "OldNinjaTrader.MDB."
• Then restart the software.

Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

no, that still doesn't seem to work. i may be needing one of the many windows updates which my computer is still downloading.
