PL and Position visualisation on Chart Trader

PL and Position visualisation on Chart Trader

I am using Ninja Trader v.6.5 as a charting software and chart Trader for Position visualization.

Unfortunately, when I have an Open Position and have Stop-Loss order placed close to the entry point the label showing the Order size and P/L in points is covered by other labels (markers). Please see attached picture.

Is there any chance to make Order Display Bar for position entry
shorted or longer than the one for any other Display Bars?

Or is it possible to display Position size and P/L anywhere else on the chart?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Thank you for your forum post.

You can change this by right clicking on the chart trader panel and selecting properties. Then change the option for Order display bar lenth to another percentage. This will effect all order bars lengths.

The position size and PnL is displayed in the Chart Trader Panel also.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Thank you, Brett for you reply to my post.

Unfortunately, the solution you advise is not solve the problem. I need to be able to see all the relevant orders ( PL, Entry, Stop Loss, Take Profit, etc ) right on the chart independently, not overlapping each other. Is there any settings that can help?
If there is no solution with settings, please state it, so I will stop all the attempts to resolve it this way.

The image attached shows exactly what I/m looking for.

      Thank you very much.

        Hello,

I see now what your talking about.

Thanks for the illustration. Unfortunately there is no way to do this currently. However I will submit this into development as a good suggestion.

Alternately you can use the quantity and PnL display that is located on the chart trader panel. Or you can develop and indicator if you are a programmer to display your PnL on the chart.

You can contact one of our NinjaScript consultants to assist you with coding this or you can use our NinjaScript guide and forums to code this indicator yourself if you are a programmer.

No change to this has been made in NinjaTrader 7, however, this was addressed in NinjaTrader 8's order display bar length. Here is an example:
