charts taking 10 times longer to load?

hi there im using 6.5 and today and yesterday my software has been extreamly slow at doing anything i tell it to do including loading difernt charts. they are so slow at loading ive had to close out the software and reopen it up because its seems to almost just freeze when i try to load and new instrument

the instruments that im flipping through are 6a 6b 6c 6e 6j dx es

this problem has only started recently

also, is ninja trader 7 out and available? should i upgrade now or is it in beta and i should wait to upgrade???

Thank you for your post.

Please rename your database. With this procedure you will be required to recreate any ATM Strategies and instrument lists you may have saved at this time.


To rename the DB:

• Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
• Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> DB--> NinjaTrader.MDB.
• Right click on NinjaTrader.MDB and select "Rename."
• Name it "OldNinjaTrader.MDB."
• Then restart the software.

Yes, the Beta version of NinjaTrader 7 is avialable to the general public and may be downloaded at the link I have provided below. You may download it if you wish while in Beta or if you are more comfortable you may wait for the official release of NinjaTrader 7. NinjaTrader 7 will be a seperate installation so you will still have access to NinjaTrader 6.5 as well.
