Need to Use Stop Market ATM

I've already done this:

Try right clicking in the DOM--> Properties--> Use Stop Market for Stop Loss orders--> True.

But it still submits a stop limit. I need to use stop market.

Please help.

heyligerb, on which market / exchange are you trading? This is for example hardcoded to use StopLimit on Globex and NT 6.5, whereas NT7 would allow you to choose.

Yes, for the ES on Globex the ATM's use StopLimit orders - this can be changed in NT7 to be either StopMarket or StopLimit.

Why the heck would you do that? Do you know how much money people lost b/c of that yesterday?

heyligerb, I can understand your thoughts and we've addressed this with NT7. For 6.5 you could still place a regular StopMarket order combined with limit exit target order (OCO'ed) if not using the ATM's for example.
