Good Feed Needed

Title says it all, I currently run Gain. I've found that I'm having lots of issues with gaps in data and this creates issues for my pivots indicators. I need a feed with better historical data than Gain. Something free would be nice but I would be willing to pay if it was decent and there isn't any gaps in the feed.

Are you running the GAIN connection with the GAIN historical data servers or the NinjaTrader historical data servers? The NinjaTrader historical data server will have more data available to you then the GAIN.

Please confirm you have historical data enabled with the steps I have provided below.
• Disconnect
• Tools
• Account Connections
• Select your connection
• Change
• Next
• Historical Data-->Gain or NinjaTrader?
• Next
• Next Finish


Alternately you can connect to a datafeed provider first before connecting to GAIN.

I was using the Gain's historical data, and switched to NT historical. Well, that seems to have fixed my issue both with my historical data being wrong and with my pivots. Thank You.

But Gain offers an e-signal connection free???

Can someone please explain this to me? I have been using Ninja Trader for analysis/signals and then trading Gain through Forex.com.

I am now going to go through the process of trading live with NT. Will there be a difference in the feed and spreads? Should I be analyzing the Esignal feed they offer NT traders free and Trade the forex connection. If so how can I do that? THANK YOU!

Send us a note to support at ninjatrader dot com when your ready to get setup to trade live with NinjaTrader through your gain account. In the instructions for rebranding your GAIN account for use with NinjaTrader you get the instructions for setting up the free eSignal data feed.

As far as the data feed from GAIN there should be no difference between live and demo connection.
