Zen-Fire connection -> no data at mkt open

Hi,

I am having an issue with NT 6.5 where I connect to Zen on a Sunday afternoon before market open, start up all my strategies etc., but after the open I am not getting data through. Even in the main window, if I select a valid contract and month, there's no data.

Re-connecting and re-starting strategies works, but I'd rather not have to baby-sit my system at 5 pm CST on a Sunday to make sure it's working. Is this a known issue?

My exact version is 6.5.1000.8 and my OS is Vista.

Yu are using a very old version of NinjaTrader. In fact there has been many changes to the Zenfire connection adaptor since version .8 we are on version .15 now. This is most likely were your problems are coming from.

Current release of NinjaTrader is version 6.5.1000.15

Make sure to close NinjaTrader before you install the updated version of NinjaTrader, all of your settings will be maintained.
