Importing Historical .txt Data

Hello

I was looking to import Historical Data of NSE Stocks. I followed the way which was written in the Help File, but it is giving me an error : - Unable to import 20100401.txt. Instrument is not supported by repository.

I followed the following procedure:

1. Tools --> Instrument Manager --> New Instrument List. Created NSE
2. File -- > Utilities --> Import Stock Symbol List --> Load --> Imported stock symbols listed under NSE
3. Tools --> Historical Data Manager --> Start Import

But, i get the error - There has been an error in importing historical data. Check the log. Here is a screenshot of NinjaTrader import options - http://img525.imageshack.us/i/ninjatraderimport.png/

In log this was written - Unable to import 20100401.txt. Instrument is not supported by repository.

*In Step number 2 listed above i imported the stock symbol list NSE Stocks. I have added that as attachment.
*In Step number 3 listed above i tried to import the historical data - 20100401.txt. I have added that as attachment.

Can you tell me, how to import the historical .txt data correctly?

Aumkar, it isn't possible to import a single day's worth of data for many stocks at the same time. You can import many day's worth of data for a single instrument though, but you would have to rename the data file to <instrument name>.txt.
