Custom Indicator Strategies

I'm looking to make strategies based on the signals generated by my custom indicators. However, I cannot access them from the condition builder.

I came across this page:

and followed the instructions, however, my custom indicators are not listed in the menu where i would choose one which to edit.

phlegma, you would need to check then with the author(s) of your custom indicators so they can ensure the 'NinjaScript generated code' section is untouched by them thus allowing for access in the wizard...

ah yes, we'll the code is definitely modified outside the wizard. am i screwed unless i can program?

Being able to custom code is certainly a plus to give you more flexibility, however for relatively simple strategies the wizard should suffice.

but you just mentioned that the code needed to be untouched, allowing access in the wizard.

Yes, there's a specific code section the NS editor would generate upon compiling the code - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...6NSEditor1.png

This should be left untouched.

it appears the code has been modified, i'm not sure why.

i'm not familiar with editing dll's, but my assumption is that i could delete the NT generated code and regenerate it?

could you point me in the right direction as to where to go from here?

phlegma, if you have the code as source locked assembly / dll you would really need to contact the orignal author of those tools, if you have the open custom code you should be able to copy it into a new indicator / strategy and then on compiling the 'NinjaScript generated' section would be added.
