commision as a percentage

Hello,

Can I set the commision as a percentage of a trade? For example, I would like to set a commision as 1% of the trade. So if I buy 1000 shares of 3$ each, the trade would be 3000$ and the commision 30$.

Hello calin,

Unfortunately this is not supported. Please see the link below on how to setup commissions in NinjaTrader.

A minimum commission will apply commissions per side per order.

A commission level will apply commissions per side per contract.

Subsequently, go to Tools-->Options-->General-tab and check 'Apply commission to PnL calculations', so it will be included in the PnL of the order entry window as well.

Note that commission will be calculated for trades you perform after you setup commissions.

Updates on % of a trade

Good day, as this issue been resolved? I too would like to set as .02% of the amount.
This tread is quite old and did not see anything new.
Please advise.

Unfortunately this is not supported. You still can only setup commissions in NinjaTrader 7 as per my previous post .
