Thank you for your response, I down loaded the file and everytime I try to run the strategy from strategy analyzer it shuts down Ninja, I dont know what is going on. Please advise me on what to do.

Can you please tell me what type of test your perform in the Strategy Analyzer.

I did a backtest on the ES 06-10 using the SampleBreakoutStrategy and I did not experience any issues.

In addition, please send me your log and trace files for today to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please reference this forum thread and put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header.

When I run the sample breakout, unaltered, on any symbol using Days, I get no results/trades. Tried it with multiple symbols.

oyz79, are you sure you have data for those instruments? Does the SampleMACrossover strategy produce results?

Yes, the sample MA crossover works no problem. Using SPY as my sample symbol Set Data to Day and value to 1. Also tried it on GLD with no results.

oyz79, ok thanks for reporting back, then it's likely a coding issue for the other strategy you were testing, have you checked that your breakout entries trigger as you would expect? You could add a visual confirmation for easier debugging.
