    Cannot connect to license servers to verify indicator license

    I bought the TPO and Volume Profile Chart for NinjaTrader 7 http://www.fin-alg.com/tpo_nt7_upgrade.html .
    Afterwards I installed it under NinjaTrader 7.0.0.13 When i tried to load the indicator i recieved:
    1. "NinjaTrader is unable to connect to its license servers in order to verify the vendor license. 'Final'.
    2. You don't have a valid license for indicator ' TPO and Volume Profile Chart'. Please contact 'Final' at '[email protected]' for a license for 'TPOChart4' for your machine ID "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX". (I hide the real ID e-mail adres)
    The following i did to ensure proper installation in chronological order:
    1. disable any active firewall
    2. disable any active virus/spyware protection
    3. deinstall NinjaTrader and removed the corresponding folder in Documents directory
    4. clear the cache of my webbrowser
    5. restart my system
    6. download NinjaTrader 7.0.0.13 and install it, activate the NinjaTrader license, shutdown NinjaTrader.
    7. download TPOChart_NT7_Setup and install it.
    8. Restart NinjaTrader
    9. Open a 1 min chart, right click on the chart and select Templates > Load, Select the 'TPOChart' template.
    I have contacted the author of the indicator by e-mail and attached the NinjaTrader log.

    He responded to me with the following:

    Hi


    See this line in the log


    2-4-2010 1:17:17;Default;NinjaTrader is unable to connect to its license servers in order to verify the vendor license 'Final'.;


    It maybe temporary problem, try restart the machine and check if you get this again, contact NT support if still not working

    I followed his suggestions, without success. Can support help me to find out the source of this issue?

    Hello ModularMix,

    Unfortunately we do not support 3rd party software in NinjaTrader 7 at this time. Please see the info below from the NinjaTrader 7 installation email.

    3rd Party Indicators and Strategies
    NinjaTrader and some of our commercial indicator and strategy providers rely on a 3rd party product called RemoteSoft Protector to protect intellectual property. As of late, this 3rd party product has caused some unexpected issues during NinjaTrader 7 runtime. We are working closely with RemoteSoft to resolve this issue however, until then we have reverted back to a stable working version of their product.


    What this means to you is the following:

    Existing Beta User
    If you have installed 3rd party commercial indicators and/or strategies, it may or may not work. If you run into problems, please report the issue to our forum (instructions below) and we will likely ask you to uninstall these 3rd party components until we have a resolution.


    New Beta User
    Please DO NOT install any 3rd party NinjaScript components at this time.

      The reported issue seems to be solved since NinjaTrader changed the hosting of their website.
      For months I had problems connecting to the main site/domain, wich now is also accessible for me.
