No Sounds using NT6.5 or NT7 with Win 7 (64 bit)

No trade execution or connection sounds coming out of NT6.5 or NT7[b.13]

Anyone else having this problem when using Win 7 (64 bit) besides Kumar? Solutions anyone?

1.) Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with 'ATTN: Kyle' in the subject line.

In the message, please include the following:

• A link to this forum thread.
• Your most current trace file.

You will find the trace file in the My Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
The file will be named 'trace.YYYYMMDD.txt' (where YYYYMMDD is the most recent date available)

2.) In the future, please make sure to post all NinjaTrader 7 related items in the NinjaTrader 7 section of the support forum.

I've already fixed the problem. I did a complete reinstall of Windows 7 and. My best guess at what happened is this.......when I was setting up Zenfire demo from Mirus's site, I saw a line to download NET 2 and since I didn't know any better, I downloaded it thinking I needed it for NT6.5. I could be wrong, but it might not be compatible with Win 7.

Thank you for that information, and your explanation is plausible in the sense that Windows 7 already features .NET 4.0, and anything above 2.0 will work with NinjaTrader 6.5
