can not connect to IB

Please help! I need to get it fixed before market opening tomorrow.

All of sudden, I can't connect to IB. When I start connection, the lower left corner "Connecting - InteractiveBrokers" doesn't turn green and when I try to open the chart, it gives me that error message "NT has detected a problem and needs to shut down........". What could be wrong? I never had this problem before.

Hello millridge,

I suggest to remove your current IB connection via Tools-->Account Connections and recreate a brand new one. Please see the IB connection guide at the link below.

Make sure you have TWS version 900 installed. Check if the TWS API options are configured accordingly as well.

If the error persists, please send me your latest log and trace files to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please reference this forum thread and put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header. You can find these files at the following locations:

Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> Log--> log.20100330.txt for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)
