Backtest with Stochastic RSI
I want to backtest a strategy based on the Stochastic RSI (buy if crosses above 0.20) but don´t get a result in the Strategy Analyzer. I guess it is a simple mistake, but which one? Can anyone help me?
By the way - I can backtest anything else but somehow the stochRSI refuses any output.Tags: None

Hello moon_121,
Thank you for your post.
Please confirm within your strategy you have selected the correct Plot for the Stochastics indicator when creating a CrossAbove or CrossBelow condition. I have attached a screen shot referencing the parameters I am referring to.
Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.Christopher J.NinjaTrader Customer Service

StochRSI has one plot. Stochastics has multiple plots. If you are using an indicator with a single plot, that plot is already selected and you just need to have it cross above/below whatever you want it to be checked against.
If you want it to cross above 0.20 select Misc>Numeric value and punch in 0.20.Josh P.NinjaTrader Customer Service
