How to add Future in the instrument managers

In the instrument managers, Under the "Type" pull down menu, I only see Stock and Index.
On the Default Instrument lists, I only see ES-06-09. How do I get the
06-10 Future for NQ, ES, etc....

Thank you for your post.

The type listed in the Instrument Manager is related to the type of data that your provider offers. Please see the following link.

If you disconnect then you should be able to roll-over the instruments, but when connected you will still not receive data unless you have a provider that offers futures data. Please follow the instructions below to rollover the expiration date of a futures contracts.

• From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
• Highlight the contract you wish to rollover in the left side of the Instrument Manager window
• Press the ">" button (the instrument will disappear from the list)
• Press the "<" button and the instrument should re-appear with the front month expiration date
