Where is NinjaTrader.eld?

I tried to set up a connection to TradeStation but am having problems. Following the help guide, it says to look for "/bin/AutoTrade/NINJATRADER.ELD".

when i look in the Bin folder, there is only "Custom/Esignal/Fix/Pats". There is no AutoTrade folder. I then did a search for *.eld anywhere in the NinjaTrader 7 folder and it was nowhere to be found.

Am I missing something?

Thank you for your post.

One thing to check is that you're looking in:

C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 7\bin\autotrade

instead of

My Documents\NinjaTrader7\bin

So one other question. I'm using Esignal for data but found out today that they only provide 10 days of tick history. I deal mainly with tick charts so that is not good. But for the short term i want to keep them as my data provider.

If i connect to TradeStation and load a bunch of back data, how do i connect/merge that with Esignal live data?

Do I need to do the Merge process or do i just load the historical TradeStation data, drop the TradeStation connection and reconnect to Esignal?

A direct connection to historical TradeStation tick data is not available. You would have to export it in TradeStation and then import the data in NinjaTrader.
