Multiple feed connections

I'm looking to use Gain Capital for FX trading & FX data feed, IQFeed for futures and equities data, and Interactive Brokers for futures and equities trading. I don't plan on using IB's data. Instead I plan on using IQFeed's data to run automated strategies through my IB account.

My assumption is that I would open connections in Ninja in the following order: 1) open Gain connection, 2) open IQFeed connection, and 3) open IB connection.

Are there any known issues or other problems that I should anticipate with the aforementioned setup?

Thank you for your forum post.

This is correct. I cannot foresee any issues here. The connections prioritize data based on who you connect to first and will prioritize based on the instrument type the connections support. With this connection GAIN data will be used for FX data only and IQFeed will be used for all other data. No data will be used from IB as the IQFeed connections supports all types of data and since it was connected before IB it will be used instead. Therefore any connections made after the IQFeed connection will be used to place trades to only and not for data.
