An indicator comebine a few indicator and output 1 result?

An indicator comebine a few indicator and output 1 result?

For example, CCI, MACD, MA, RSI etc, and put 2 or more of them together, then output 1 indicator/signal.

I think i saw something like that in forum a while ago, but cant find it.

    Hello MoreYummy,

I am not sure if I follow. What exactly do you mean by 'output 1'?

I did some searches on the forum, but I could not find relevant information so far.

Please note that it is not supported by default to add indicators in the same panel in NinjaTrader 6.5. You could set the indicators to the same panel, but if they use different Y-axis values, the outcome will be different than expected.

However, this is supported in NinjaTrader 7.

    New Indicators on Indicators
The image below depicts the new "Input Series" dialog that is available when adding an indicator to a chart. In addition to selecting a Data Series input, you can optional expand the indicators section and select any indicator as input to another indicator. You can infinitely nest indicators within indicators...Not that this would be required....

Let me explain better, first post isnt clear enough.

EX: on stochastic, and 2 MA, when stochastic above 80 and 2 MA cross down/up, then output 1 result in indicator panel with a 2 and blue.

And the above numbers or condition can be changed.

      Hope you get my idea.

It should not be too hard, but i need a template to play with to change the conditions.

        Hello MoreYummy,

Yes, this should be possible upon creating a custom indicator. More information can be found at the link below.

Unfortunately I am not aware of specific information in our forum in this regard.

In the indicator wizard, "Price type selectable " what does it do?

And in the indicator programming, where is the variable for all the indicator such as MA, CCI, MACD etc.

"Price type selectable" allows the indicator to choose if it is running on Close prices, Open prices, High, Low, etc. If you don't have this it will always run off of Close prices.

I am not sure what you mean by "variable". Indicators are called by indicator methods. Please take a look at the Help Guide articles for a few of the indicator methods to get a feel for it. You can search up SMA, MACD, etc. in the Help Guide and there will be examples of how to use them.
