Connecting 2 broker feeds

I have a demo feed from Amp zen fire and IQ feed real time just for indexes. I believe I recall amp should be connected first then DTN IQ correct?

Hello dandxg,

You will receive real-time data from the first connection you connect. Only when the first connection does not support an instrument type (stock, future, index, forex), it will retrieve real-time data from the second connection. Ok thanks. So let me be specific. I am trading ES, 6E, the VIX.

I have amp zen connected first which can provide real time data to ES and 6E, but can't provide real time to the VIX.

I have DTN IQ connected second so I should be getting real time data for the Vix if I am paying for real time data, which I am, from DTN correct?

Ok good, now here is the problem I am not get real time updates from IQ feed. Either NT or IQ is dropping data or its not real time? I am calling IQ now.

Do you receive real-time VIX data when connected solely to IQFeed?

It's IQ feed they had me on delayed thanks for your help.
