Orders screen

I am confused about something which is happening in the orders screen.
I select the YM 03-10 with an esignal connection. Now If I select the default option I can receive data. However if I then select Future for YM 03-10 no data is received.

I am aware that I can change the exchange for the YM 03-10 by selecting the default list and selecting the YM 03-10 and using the < > keys to change the exchange as for rollover. but what does the Future part of the drop down selection on the orders screen relate to? I would thought if I have the YM 03-10 set up correctly on my default list and it is receiving data, then selecting Future and the same instrument should work as well.

This is all happening on an esignal connection with no broker connection.
