    Swing Indicator Strength parameter

    When you apply the Swing Indicator with a Strength parameter of 1, the corresponding plots are not always correct. (The same results can be seen with various other values)

    According to the definition of 'Strength', it represents the "Number of bars required on each side of the swing point.".

    As you will see from the attached image, there are several places where the plotting of the lines occurs when there is equal lows/highs and the Swing Point is only higher/lower on one side.

    Perhaps it is the definition of Strength that needs updating - eg. # of bars required on one side of the Swing point. {However I prefer the concept that the Strength should indicate how many bars are required on both sides to constitute a Swing point}

    Hi,

    it depends on the definition of a swing. Indeed we followed the definition, that a swing is higher than <strength> bars before, and at least as high as <strength> bars after.

    Kind regards,
