where's my strategies and stocks?

Hi I put a strategy on 10 stocks and let it run by itself, but when the connection is lost (the trading session ends) they are gone. no where to be found. when i start ninja again everything is clean. no trading history (except log）， no orders, no positions, no execution record. as if the trading the day before does not exist. please tell me how to avoid this. the user interface is really confusing. thanks for help.

Hello light7801,

Unfortunately this is as expected in NinjaTrader 6.5; you will need to restart the strategy manually.

However this is improved in NinjaTrader 7. Please see the link below for more information.

Persistence between sessions
Strategies will now be maintained between NinjaTrader shutdown and restart. On restart, you can multi-select strategies in the Control Center Strategies grid and enable all strategies to run in a single click. You can disable, change parameters and re-enable a strategy. You can now also save a set of parameters as default. You no longer have to re-add strategies every time you restart NinjaTrader.

hi Jason, thanks for explaining. i just dont get it coz even the positions i established in previous session was not shown. that's too disappointing. can u tell me where to download 7 beta version? will all the trading records be kept in 7? including accumulative realized profit?

Could it be you were in a strategy position in the previous session and not an account position? Please see the following link for more information regarding strategy vs. account positions.

All trade history will be saved in the database. You can generate reports via the Control Center-->Account Performance-tab.
