Workspaces CPU question

I know that charts in additional workspaces use up CPU resources because those charts are calculated anyways regardless of whether or not the workspace is open. But what if two workspaces contain exactly the same charts, and just happen to have them re-arranged differently onscreen? Will the program still go ahead and calculate each chart twice, one copy in each workspace?

Also, does this work exactly the same way in NT7?

Hello JS999 and managedfx,

Each chart will use CPU resources and memory even if these are exactly the same.

This will work the same in NinjaTrader 7.

Charts located in workspaces running in the background will use resources. However, workspaces (and the windows it contain) that are closed will not use any resources.
