Alerts that keep sounding

It would be a very useful feature to have N.T. allow for alerts that will continue to sound until acknowledged.

Any thoughts?

Thank you for your post.

If when applying an alert you decrease the Re-arm time the alert should sound so long as its conditions are true. Please see the following link.

thanks! however, i'm not certain this will work with my custom indicators. I don't need an alarm to continue so long as the conditions are met, i need an alarm that will alarm until i stop it.

Hi,

That type of parameter is not available with the alerts, as they will sound or not based on when conditions are met, rather than continue until disabled.

I will forward your suggestion as enhancement to NinjaTrader for alerts.

thanks, i know TradeStation has this feature. Whether or not thats important to N.T. developers, I'm not sure.

Any updates on this? I think this feature is essential to the alarm system. I am surprised it is missing.
