I ran some strategies on live sim market (during regular market hours). Then backtested the same strategies at night. Their performance summaries and trades were completely different!
First, I thought the backtest feature will help testing/validating the profitable % of a strategy (before trading for real $). How can I trust it if backtest results have not been matching the live ones?
Maybe I did something wrong. Appreciate any suggestions to rectify the discrepancy. Thank you!
