Ninja Reporting Open Position

    Ninja Reporting Open Position

    My Ninja Control Center and screen keeps indicating an open position but Amp and Velocity trading desk tells me I have no open positions. I have deleted and reinstalled Ninjatrader and also have deleted the Ninja database on numerous occasions. Nothing seems to clear the open position in Control center. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any suggestions as to how to correct this problem?

    Can you please let me know if these trades were placed using a live account, or the simulated account.

      It is a live account. I have also checked my AMP portal and that is showing no open positions also.

        Hi,

        Can you please forward your log and trace files to support [at] ninjatrader [dot] com so that I can review those orders.

        Trace files will be located by going to My Documents->NinjaTrader 6.5->Trace-> trace.2010xxxx.txt
        Log files will be located by going to My Documents->NinjaTrader 6.5->Log->log.2010xxxx.txt


        Also, can you please attach a screenshot of your orders tab so that I can see which orders are being reported. To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

        Please reference this post when sending that email.

            OCi-trdr,
            I had similar instances about a month ago .. I thought positions were closed but they were not. Ninja support helped out and told me to update to the latest version. Everything is working fine now.

              Thanks for the help. The proposed solution worked and problem has been fixed. Fix was....Remove Account connection; Repair the DB and recreate the account connection.
