I'm looking at upgrading my computer system in the near future. Many come with Vista pre-installed although XP is still available. I think that Vista comes using .Net 3. Is .Net 3 backwards compatible with .Net 2? Do you have any Operating System recommendations that would be best for use with Ninja Trader? My trading computer is only used for trading. Thanks.

Although we are running on Vista, I think that XP is more stable as not all applications run on Vista.
If you do go with Vista, you will need to install .NET 2.0. If you have no need for 3.0, I would remove it. We have has some reports of conflicts although it runs fine on our development machines running both 2.0 and 3.0.RayNinjaTrader Customer Service
