Using Restore in NT6.5

If I restore NT6.5 using Utilties/Restore will the Restore erase the database back to the date of the last Restore or will it keep the current database?

If the backup file you created included the database, it will restore the database as you saved it when you created the backup file.

Just to make sure - here's what I'm asking specifically:

1) NT suddenly crashed on me and 2 of my workspaces no longer exist.
2) My last restore is 1 month ago.
3) If I restore NT will I get the back the workspaces that I saved in my last restore only to lose all of the data in the database that was not backed up over the last month?

4) If 3) is True is there a way for me to recover part of an NT restore without erasing the most recent month'd data?

I assume the backup file you created included the database. If so, you will lose the saved chart data from last month, but it will restore the workspaces.

Unfortunately there no way to recover the backup file partially.

I suggest to rebuild the lost workspaces instead of restoring the database to avoid losing the saved chart data. However, if you have access to a data feed provider that supports historical data, I would restore the backup file and reload historical data for the last month from that data feed.
