Chart Trader Order Transmission problem

Hi,

I'm using Chart Trader to transmit orders to IB forex.

I have two charts in my saved workspace, Orders are transmitted properly to IB from these two charts.

I click on File->New->Chart and bring up a third chart and try to transmit orders from this chart. Although NT confirms and shows on the chart that the order is transmitted, I don't see the pending order on IB. I also issued a market order from this chart, NT confirms execution but nothing happened in IB.

I re-saved my workspace with this third chart and tried all over again, still didn't work from this third chart.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your post.

Can you please send an email to support [at] ninjatrader [dot] com with your log and trace files for today's date. I would like to review the order executions.

Trace files will be located by going to My Documents->NinjaTrader 6.5->Trace-> trace.2010xxxx.txt
Log files will be located by going to My Documents->NinjaTrader 6.5->Log->log.2010xxxx.txt


When sending those files please reference this thread and mark ATTN RyanO.


Also, please make sure that on your third, new chart that you have the live IB account selected as the orders may have been placed in the sim101 account.

Hi Ryan,

The problem is resolved.

After I brought up the third new chart, I re-saved my workspace. Then I exit-ed NT, started it again and then transmitted orders from the third new chart. IB correctly received the orders and showed these in its list of pending orders.
