Can same licence key be used on two computers?

Hi,

I would like to check if my live trading licence key can be used on my ninjatrader program in my laptop as well as my desktop. That is, can it be used on two computers?

Hi,

That is possible, but not at the same time.. You would be in violation then of the End User License Agreement (EULA) which can lead to license termination.

Can I ask the same question in a different manner?

If I wanted to run ninja charts with live data from one computer, but then, on another computer at the same time just run a DOM and trade live using Ninja, would that work?

This can also only be done with 2 different licenses, you would be in violation otherwise.

Also, double check with your broker if they allow multiple connections to your account. Not every broker supports this out of security reasons.

I download my ninja trader to a desktop PC at home. When I go on the road can I download ninja to my laptop PC and use it when I am not on my main trading platform PC at home? Hence I am only on one access at a time.

Is it possible with MultiBroker Live License? I am thinking on a scenario with one NT multibroker license simultaneously on several virtual machines, each trading/charting only 1 instrument (NQ,YM,6E etc) and use of only 1 broker account: what would the pre-requisites to make this a viable possibility?

MultiBroker Licenses

All the virtual machines are on 1 motherboard. Basically, I am trying to makeup for limitations of NT6 (stability issues). I understand that the possibility exists to have multibroker on different machines as long as they are each connected to a different broker: why is that so different from having virtual machines on 1 motherboard connected to the same broker?
How can I make that work?

This is incorrect. You can use the license on only one PC at a time (per our EULA).

transfer to new computer

I have ninja trader installed on an older machine and would like to install it on a new machine...

When I enter the key, In order to download.... I get a message stating that 'email address is wrong'

What do I have to do to get a download for my new machine..?

Follow up to this thread, if i am logged into Ninja and my broker (zenfire and mirrus) on my office machine and i notice i want to make a change to a trade via my laptop, if i login with the same key on ninja will it kick the other account offline? Mirrus i know does this as it disconnects my other session, but would this be an infringement on the ninja terms of use or??

Thank you for your note.

You can not use the Live license twice at the same time. That would be a violation of the End User License Agreement (EULA). If you want to use on 2 different computers at the same time you would need to purchase an additional license.

Would like to know if an owner of a license key can sell that same key to someone else for use in his computer? Please Advice
