set number of backups to keep?

As far as I know there is no limitation on how much backup files you can keep.

Are you experiencing a limitation on how much backup files you can create?

I would like to limit the number and can't see a way to do it. I don't want the folder to keep growing. I just want to keep the last 5 or so and have the rest automatically deleted.
