Position Strategy Settings

Hello - I understand that when using a position strategy or scaling-in, separate pre-defined strategies are used for each new position. However, it appears the NT support video on this subject may be a bit outdated. My latest version of NT does not have the parameter "Apply fills to active strategy as default" listed in the Tools-Options-Strategy menu as instructed to check in the video. See attached screenshot. Need clarification on the correct settings. Thanks much.

Hi,

That is correct, some of the features are moved to the 'General tab' of the Options menu.

We will update the Help Guide with the release of V7.

Hello - I do not see the parameter located within the Tools/Options/General Tab. See attachement. I beleive I have the latest version of NT (6.5.1000.14). Can you please clarify all the settings required to use a position strategy.

This was an option available in earlier versions of NinjaTrader.

Currently, this is handled through ATM strategy selection modes.

The ATM Strategy Selection Mode that mirrors the function you are referring to is the 'SelectActiveATMStrategyOnOrderSubmission' setting. (which is the default setting)
