bar timer

Hi,

I have been trying to trade off a 5 min chart for the ES. I have tried adding the bar timer indicator to alert myself as to when the current bar will end and the nxt bar will form.

However there always seems to be a lag time from bar to bar. The timer will count down to 0, but the next bar will not start forming until a few seconds later. Is there anyway to rectify this problem?

I am using a trading technologies feed and my broker is Velocity futures.

Thank you for your note.

This most commonly occurs when a PC's clock is not in sync.
Please shut down NinjaTrader, sync your PC's clock and let me know if the issue persists.

You can sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated.
