Bar Timer

Just wondering if the Bar Timer Indicator (the one which counts down the time left in a bar) is based on the time given by my data provider or my computer clock?

I normally notice a short (few seconds) lag between the bar timer reaching 0 and the nxt bar being formed. Is there an explanation for this?

Then it would be tied to your local PC clock - please sync up the time with an internet time server and then recheck.

bar timer

I'm using 30 sec. bars however, the timer indicates that it is 3 minute chart ( it starts countown from 180 seconds ). How do I fix it to start with 30 sec ( or whatever chart interval i decide to use ).

Which broker or feed are you using tomek001? Have you synched the PC clock and rebooted?

I'm using Mirus with zenfire. Do I need to synch. the clock every time I change my chart? I hope that is not the case.

We advise synching in regular intervals, like for example each day. There're also programs available synching in predefined intervals for you.

For now, please sync it manually and then reboot the PC and retry.
