Strategy Tab's relationship to other tabs

Let's say I load a strategy and I click Start Strategy (with a sim account) in the Strategy Tab. The strategy sees a buy signal and buys the underlying security. I would expect something to show up in the Positions tab and the Executions tab, but nothing shows up. Is this because it's on a sim account and not a real account?

How would I go about performing a discretionary trading exit once the strategy is "on" should there be no data in the Positions tab?

    Thanks!

    Hello Crumbs,

The order execution should be listed in the Executions-tab if the strategy submits an order after you started it. It should also list a position in this case.

Note that there can be a difference as per the account position and strategy position. Please see the link below for more information.

You can open up a SuperDOM and submit a manual order. Make sure it contains the same instrument and account combination.
